Let’s See The World – Together As One
Pam became interested in taking pictures when she got her first film camera from the Consumers Distributing catalogue. Spending her summers at a camp in Northwestern Ontario as a teenager, she started her focus on landscape photography. What really fuelled her passion was when she started travelling around the world, especially to Africa. “There is nothing quite like staring into an animal’s eyes when he is only meters away from you, or closer, and being able to capture that moment.”
Pam has published “Reflections of Gratitude – A Personal Journal”, and “Say Yes to” a book of inspiration. Both books contain images she has taken from places both near and far. In addition to prints and regular framing options, for those who are looking for a unique artwork piece, some images can be turned into metalwork.
“They say a picture speaks a thousand words. It is my hope that by sharing my pictures with you, you will be able to see and experience places you may never get to travel to – and we can do it Together as One.”
While on her trip to Kenya, Africa Pam was made aware of the Swahili word “Pamoja”, which is translated as Together as One. It seems only fitting that with Africa being her favourite and most impactful place to travel, that this is the meaning she brings to her photography.
